FOR FELLOWSHIP…FOR OUR COMMUNITY…FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM
THAT’S WHY WE SING
FOR FELLOWSHIP —
Sometimes we practice as a full chorus with each section “voice” (Tenor, Lead, Baritone & Base) consisting of several singers.
And sometimes we’re in the practice room learning a new song (click here)
And also, for training, we will work on impromptu quartets where we will mix & match various singers. Learning to sing in a quartet can be quite different from singing in a full chorus.
FOR OUR COMMUNITY—
Singing the National Anthem at UVA Virginia Cavalier and Tom Sox Ball Games
The Jeffersonland Chorus (above) decked out in colorful summer attire posing with prairieweather Lewis, the Charlottesville Tom Sox mascot, after singing the National Anthem.
The Barbers Of Cville, a premium Jeffersonland Chorus Quartet, singing their beautiful version of the National Anthem at a Tom Sox game.

OR BEING A SINGING SANTA
WE SING BECAUSE WE LOVE TO PERFORM
We Perform for hire at special gigs
Here we are performing for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. We’ve left the stage and are gathered around the Young (at heart) couple to express the simple thought of “Heart Of My Heart, I Love You”. —————————————————->>
WE PERFORM ONSTAGE MOUNTING OUR OWN PRODUCTIONS
And to the left, we are performing at a private function. I guess you could say we “sang for our supper,” since we also had some delicious food afterwards.

WE PERFORM WITH OTHER SINGING GROUPS AND EMSEMBLES
AND SOMETIMES WE JUST SING FOR THE FUN OF IT!
Here we are just walking the Charlottesville Mall. We walk, stop, and sing to the crown…then we walk some more stop and sing again…”just traveling along, singing a song” ————————————————————>>>>
